Piper groaned as she pushed herself off the couch, heading towards the kitchen when she heard the sound of orbing. She grinned when she spotted her younger son. "Hey, Chris. Are you going to stay for dinner, or going to the Underworld again?" she questioned.
Chris flashed her a smile, glancing up and down at her to make sure everything was still okay. He worried a little too much for her liking, which only worried Piper even more. "How's little me?" he asked instead, avoiding the question.
The baby kicked. "Active right now. I think you woke him up," he joked.
He sighed. "I have some time to spare. Yes, I'll stay," he reluctantly agreed.
She grinned. "Good, you can help me with dinner."
"Should you be on your feet, Mom?"
Piper rolled her eyes. "Stop worrying so much. I'm fine," she reassured him. She ordered to get some things for her that she didn't have the energy to search for, and then the two of them got started on dinner.
Chris mixed the salad together, feeling nostalgic for the time before his mother's death. He hoped they'd be able to do this in the future after they saved Wyatt.
