Saparata never thought in his entire life that he would marry the same person who tried to ruin his life. And yet, here he is now, happily married with a kid of their own. Saps wouldn't change any of it...
Okay, maybe he did want to change some things.
Saps just came back form an exhausting mission, expecting Flux and their son, Planet to come to his side. He comes home and sees Benji in the corner crying, Flux, Turntapp and Schpood arguing and their six year old, holding a pistol, looking innocent as ever. Their house was a mess, bullet holes everywhere, a broken vase sat at the entrance and broken glass was scattered around.
"What happened."
The three men slowly turn their heads to the furious Saps. Schpood was scared for his life, Turntapp looked like he saw his memories flash before his eyes and Flux chuckles awkwardly.
"Hi honey, you're...early."
"Explain. Now."
"Okay, okay, don't be mad."
"I'm already mad Flux."
"Look... It's Schpood's fault! He gave Planet the gun!"
"What?! Me?!" Schpood yelled.
"Turntapp left it at the table! I just saw it!"
"That isn't my gun! I would never bring one here!" Turntapp yelled back.
"And Benji?" Saps said it so calmly, it was terrifying.
"Uncle Benji is traumatized. All I did was grab this toy and I pointed it at him. He screamed so fucking loud, I got scared and pressed this." Planet pointed at the trigger of the gun joyfully, having no idea as to what was happening. Mind you, Planet is a six year old who just dropped the f bomb.
Saps turned to the other three, their expressions shocked and filled with horror.
"Baby, I swear, none of us taught him that word." Saps didn't listen to Flux, instead he moved forward to Planet and got down to his level.
"Planet, who taught you that word? You can tell me."
"Uh..." Planet looked at his dad and uncles, frantically shaking their heads violently mouthing the words "no" and "don't". Then he looked at his papa, who had a smile on his face but his eyes told a different story.
"Uhm... I heard daddy say it while this was making the noises and the holes." Saps turned to glare at Flux, who's face drained of color completely. Saps then turned to Benji, who was still crying.
"Planet, go to your room and give the toy to papa." Planet gives the gun and goes to his room.
"The others, leave. And Schpood don't think I won't tell Jophiel about this." Schpood and Turntapp nods and leaves in a hurry. Saps then turns to Benji and apologies for this...disaster.
"It's okay, I'll be in my way back to Elysium now." Benji stands up and walk out of the house, leaving Saps and Flux alone.
"As for you, Fluixon Aculon." Saps glares at him with rage. Calling him with his full name meant he was probably going to die.
"You will be sleeping in the guest room tonight, word of advice? Sleep with one eye open." Saps goes upstairs into their bedroom and locks the door. Flux needed to apologize quickly before he actually dies tonight.
Flux goes into the kitchen, makes Saps' favorite tea with cookies that he accidentally burned and gets his favorite book from the library and goes upstairs to the door.
"Saps? Honey? Look I know you're mad, and I'm really sorry... I made you some tea, your favorite kind."
Saps opens the door, takes one look at the tea and book and smiles. "Those cookies look burned."
Flux smiles back and goes into the room. That has always been their routine, apologize, make up for it, cuddle and talk. Saps and Flux get on the bed as Saps opens his book and starts reading while sipping his tea as Flux places his head on Saps' shoulder. Then Planet, holding his stuff animal, slowly walks in.
"Planet, what are you doing here?"
"Can I stay here? I had a nightmare." Saps smiles warmly and nods, Planet climbs into the bed and settles down in the middle and drifts off to sleep. Flux pulls the blanket higher to keep Planet warm and places a kiss on Saps' cheek, as the two join their son in his slumber.
Planet was eating breakfast and Flux was looking over some documents, when Saps entered the room, a letter in hand.
"Flux, we have a letter from the Hemlockes."
"About?"
"A banquet, to celebrate Pyro's birthday, it says he's turning 18."
"Really? Papa, can we go?"
"Planet, me and dad are busy, you'll be alone there."
"Please? I really wanna go. I can handle myself." Planet kept insisted that he can go alone, which he can since he is 14. Plus there will be kids his age...
"Okay, but I'll tell Aunt Cyn to go with you. You better promise to stay near her."
"Okay papa! I promise!"
What has he done?
The party was attacked by two villains and Planet was one of the unfortunate to get shot and is currently in surgery. Cynikka kept blaming herself for what happened, even if it wasn't her fault the villains broke in. Flux paced back and forth in the corridor, Cass was there with Cynikka, telling her that Planet would be alright.
"We're here! Is Planet okay?" Saps looks up and sees Jophiel and Schpood rushing in.
"Planet is still in surgery." Flux said back.
"I should've kept a closer eye on Planet, maybe he would've been safe..." Cynikka said.
"No Cyn. It's okay, you two got separated because of the chaos, not because you couldn't protect him." Saps cut Cynikka's thoughts of regret and she smiles back at him.
A doctor comes out, holding Planet's information.
"Doctor! Is our son okay?" Flux asked.
"He's going to be alright, just needs a couple weeks to rest. You can go see him." Saps breathed a sigh of relief and starts crying tears of joy on Flux's shoulder. Their baby boy is okay, he's safe.
Flux and Saps run into the hospital room where Planet was at. He looked weak, but still held on.
"Papa... Dad..."
"Planet! Oh we were so worried about you!" Flux stated.
"Papa...?"
"Yes?"
"I think I really want to become a hero now."
Saps and Flux chuckles at that as they hugged each other tightly. Nothing was going to break this family apart. Saps will make sure of it.
