Summary
Simon Riley is a mershark who joined the military to escape an abusive home, only to be betrayed on a black op and sold into Manuel Roba’s underground fighting rings. Collared, muzzled, and weaponized as “Roba’s Ghost,” he’s forced through years of brutal conditioning, cage matches, and black‑bag jobs topside, fighting to keep some part of himself from breaking even as his body wears down. When Task Force 141 finally tracks the infamous “dog” in the ring and recognizes the lost soldier beneath the mask, Simon has to decide whether he can trust anyone enough to run again—or if it’s already too late to get out from under Roba’s leash.
