Summary
When the deathless Matil threaten the love of Katie's life, they're doing her a huge favor. She meets a beautiful stranger who's kind, brave, and maddeningly gentle. If only this iron bracelet weren't eating into her wrist, she might almost enjoy meeting Fox.
Fox has been enslaved before, and he's not planning on making it a habit. With the Matil inside his head and their lies in his ears, he'll need help to get out alive. Then he meets a too-small girl with a too-big heart, and suddenly survival isn't enough. Will he reach too far?
