“Don’t worry about me, I’ll bring my own guardsman,” Mid said blithely.
Clive frowned at her. “What do you mean?”
She jerked her head toward the prince who stood leaning against the wall, close enough to overhear everything they said. Then she turned and called out to him. “Mr. Fancy Pants! You’re coming with!”Jill just wanted them to spend more time together before she had to watch all of them leave for Origin. Joshua and Dion needed more time together. Mid wanted to see some airships. The Sagespire was the answer.

eating this jill and dion interaction sooooooooo deliciously. i just think there is so much (platonic tbc) potential between them and i strongly feel that they are foils if you have the eyes to see... this person fucking gets it!!!!!!!!!
