Light Yagami had always known he was beautiful. So, how was it divinely just that he had to remain handcuffed to L, traitor to Justice and Goodness? How was it fair that Light was forced to remain at the same level, at the same step as the detective?
While Light’s hunger for liberation and separation persists, L develops another type of hunger, an obsession he claims has just to do with his hyperfixation on the case. There definitely weren’t any other reasons for his frequent longing glances and his insistence on proximity to Light… Right?
Misa’s cluelessness and irritation regarding the handcuffs only pushes the two men to a dinner reservation together… as well as a hotel room together.
