Silas doesn't get injured from Nemesis Prime dripping onto him. In this story he's not an idiot and makes giant robots fight on top of him.
In this story, after Optimus beats his creation, Silas flees and starts wondering about other options.
MECH kidnaps Miko and start giving her robotic parts to see how that goes. Miko ends up with Airachnid's spider legs sticking out of her back and she can hear a weird buzzing in her head.
When she's rescued, Miko finds out her family from Japan came and she's pretty fed up with them, saying that they never cared to visit her before but now that she was almost dead now they come and visit?
Sooner or later the Nakadais find out about the Autobots and try taking Miko home to Japan for safety but Miko argues that those aliens have been more of a family to her then her real family and oh doesn't that just sting?
On the plus side, being part robot means Vince has stopped bullying Jack and Raf and her so school's easier to deal with now.
Miko even sometimes says stuff about robots in class so the teachers let her take breaks because of course Miko's going to milk getting kidnapped and experimented on for all it's worth.
Bulkhead tries helping Miko get along with her family and Miko begrudgingly tries to fix the broken relationship. Nakadai means relationship after all and if her parents are supposedly trying to be better now then maybe Miko should give them the benefit of the doubt.
And then Miko finds out that having Airachnid's parts in her just got more complicated because the buzzing she hears in her head are the Insecticons and Miko finds out that she can control them.
She can control about two thirds of the Deception army.
Oh boy she's definitely going to have fun with that.
But on the theme of family and found family, Miko redeems the Insecticons and they don't just serve the Autobots because she tells them to. They're decent bots now.
Oh, and someone goes and squishes Silas into paste. Rest in many tiny pieces.
