Gale nods in understanding, sloughing off the prison uniform, and she turns away to let him change. "Is that what you told that other guy?"
"His situation is not the same. Don't presume anything." She turns around, and Gale once again is wearing baggy jeans and a rather gaudy T-shirt.
"So, what is the plan?"
She sits down with Gale in her office, and watches the way he slouches into the chair, almost too comfortably. It was not the posture of someone who was behind bars an hour earlier. She thinks he'll do well.
Film-noir style mystery/crime fic set in Panem, California. Ensemble cast, so almost everyone gets to play. Basically it's Mayor Coin vs crime boss Snow, with all of our favs caught in the middle.
