Work Text:
Scott and Jimmy had just arrived home from work.
A busy day for both of them, to say the least.
Luckily, Tango was off work, so they could all grab a bite to eat and snuggle up in their beds.
"Tango! We're home!"
Scott would take off his shoes and leave them near the door, just like Jimmy.
Tango did not respond.
"Firefly?" Scott checked the kitchen while Jimmy checked the bathroom in the living room.
"Rancher? Are you here?" Jimmy checked the room, found nothing of his husband, but entered their bedroom bathroom with the door closed and the light on.
Jimmy could hear the shower running from inside; Tango was taking a shower.
"Hey Rancher, we're here, are you almost done in there?" Jimmy knocked on the door, speaking a little louder so Tango could hear.
"Have they arrived yet? Yes, I'm coming out!" Tango shouted from the shower as he grabbed a towel.
Jimmy left the room and went back to the living room.
"I found him, he's in the shower, he said he's coming out soon." Jimmy entered the kitchen drinking water.
"Did the voice sound normal? Did it sound like someone who had just been crying?" Scott asked as he put the glass down in the sink.
"It seemed normal, even though it was hard to hear because of the shower, but it seemed normal—" Jimmy was interrupted by footsteps coming from the bedroom.
Tango stopped in the kitchen doorway, looking at the two of them.
"Hey firefly, how are you?" Scott approached and kissed Tango's cheek.
"I'm fine... you... could you redo the bandages?... please..." Tango tried to turn her face away, ashamed of the kiss, afraid of being judged for the request. It was a simple request, but to Tango it seemed like such a big one.
Scott smiled lovingly at Tango. "Of course, love, Jimmy, can you get the first aid kit for me?" Scott led Tango to a chair while Jimmy grabbed the kit.
When Jimmy brought the first aid kit, he sat in front of Tango while Scott sat next to him.
"Can you roll up the sleeves of your sweatshirt for me, love? Please?" Scott looked at Tango with puppy-dog eyes, but also with affection.
Tango slowly rolled up the sleeves of his sweatshirt, trying not to look at his arms again.
Scott had applied bandages last night, but since Tango needed to shower today, Scott would have to redo the bandages.
Scott took the alcohol, rubbed it on the slightly pink cuts, grabbed some ointment and applied it to each of the cuts, took the roll of bandages and wrapped Tango's forearms, finishing by kissing each of his arms.
Tango blushed slightly at the action and rolled the sleeves of his sweatshirt back down.
"What do you think about me and Scott taking a shower too, then we cuddle in bed and watch something with you?" Jimmy said as he took Tango's hands and kissed them while Scott put things away in the kit and put them away.
"It seems... good..." Tango said, looking away in embarrassment.
Jimmy smiled at the action and kissed Tango's head, hugging him while Scott took a shower.
When Scott got out of the shower, Jimmy got in.
Tango was sitting in a chair in the room while Scott made the bed for them to lie down and the TV was ready, showing the movie they always watched.
Tangled (Don't judge the author, he/she loves this movie.)
When Jimmy came out of the bathroom, Tango and Scott were already lying in bed waiting for him.
Jimmy lay on one end, Tango in the middle, and Scott on the other, hugging each other.
Tango probably slept through half the movie, but that didn't matter much to Scott and Jimmy. What mattered to them was that Tango was there with them, alive, and they loved him so much.
