“Shh, it’s ok Scott, everything’s ok,” Nom shushes, rubbing a hand along his back, “Everything’s ok, I’m alive. I’m safe. We all are safe.”

Nom had practically slept through the first real day of bloodshed since the tentative peace fell through. Already feeling incredibly guilty Nom runs into Scott, freshly adorned with a new scar, attempting to replant their destroyed fields. Nom decides it's as best time than any to catch up on Scott's day, how he feels about this ever growing cycle Nom is more than accustom too.
