Work Text:

The house was quiet, almost too quiet. Megumi and Yuji had slipped out through the back door an hour ago, fueled by the thrill of rebellion and a shared glance that promised an unforgettable night.

They found themselves amidst the pulsing bass and flashing lights of an underground club, the kind they'd only ever seen in movies. Yuji, ever the extrovert, dragged his boyfriend deeper into the crowd, his laughter infectious as they navigated through the sea of bodies, a cheap soda in hand that somehow felt like the strongest drink in the world. They were seventeen, invincible, and completely lost in the moment.

Back home, Satoru had just finished his late-night tea when he noticed the lack of sounds from the two teenage boys, knowing Yuji, there are always some kind of sounds. “Suguru, have you seen the boys?” he called out, a playful smirk fading into genuine concern when he got no answer.

Suguru, who had been engrossed in a book, looked up, a faint frown creasing his brow. “No, I haven’t heard a peep since they said goodnight. Why?”

Satoru was already pulling out his phone, a familiar glint in his eye. “Because Megumi’s bed is empty, and his location services are always on, just in case of… well, this.” A few taps later, a small blue dot glowed on the screen as he showed it to Suguru, nestled in the heart of the liveliest district.

Suguru sighed, closing his book with a soft thud. “Teenagers,” he muttered, but a hint of amusement played at the corners of his lips. “Lead the way, then, dear.”

· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·

The club was a mix of sound and flashing lights, a start contrast to the quiet home they’d left behind. Satoru, with his usual theatrical flair, navigated the crown with a determined stride, Suguru following calmly after him.

They pushed through the throngs of dancing bodies, the bass vibrating through the floor, until Satoru suddenly stopped, a hand flying to his mouth in mock horror, though his eyes twinkled with a mix of shock and utter delight.

On the dance floor, bathed in the pulsing red and blue lights, were Megumi and Yuji. Their faces flushed, eyes bright with uninhibited joy, they were swaying, laughing, and yes, grinding against each other with an enthusiasm that left little to the imagination.

Yuji had his arms loosely draped around Megumi’s neck, whispering something that made Megumi throw his head back and laugh, a sound that was rarely heard outside their intimate moments. Megumi, in turn, had his hands firmly on Yuji’s hips, pulling him closer with each beat of the music.

They were completely lost in their own world, oblivious to the fact that two very familiar, and very amused, figures were watching them from the edge of the dance floor. Satoru let out a soft, delighted chuckle, while Suguru merely shook his head, a fond, exasperated smile playing on his lips. This was going to be an interesting ride home.

Satoru leaned into Suguru, a wide grin spreading across his face. “Well, well, well,” he whispered, his voice barely audible over the thumping music. “Look at our little shadows. All grown up and, uh, grinding.”

Suguru just shook his head again, a low chuckle escaping him. “I suppose we should intervene before they spontaneously combust for sheer youthful horniness and get charged with ‘public indecency.”

They waited for the beat to drop, then Satoru, with the stealth of a particularly flamboyant ninja, sidled up behind Yuji. Suguru, ever the more subtle one, positioned himself a few feet away, ready to observe the oncoming chaos.

Just as Yuji was about to lean in to whisper something else to Megumi, Satoru clapped him firmly on the shoulder.

Yuji yelped, jumping about a foot in the air, his eyes wide with surprise. Megumi, startled, spun around, his hands instinctively tightening around Yuji’s hips. Their faces, already flushed from alcohol and dancing, now deepened to a spectacular shade of crimson as they registered who was standing there in front of them.

“Having fun boys?” Satoru asked, his grin widening, a mischievous glint in his blue eyes. He made sure his voice carried just enough to be heard over the music.

Yuji stammered, “Uh, S-Satoru-sensei! Suguru-sensei! What are you… what are you doing here?”

Megumi, ever the stoic and nonchalant, just looked away, trying to subtly detangle himself from his boyfriend, though his ears were burning.

Suguru stepped forward, a gentle smile replacing his earlier amusement. “We just thought we’d come and check on you two. You know, make sure youre… safe.” He emphasized ‘safe’ with a knowing look that made both teenagers want to melt into the floor.

Yuji's face was practically glowing crimson, and he kept glancing between Satoru's smug expression and Megumi, who was not attempting to appear deeply engrossed in the pattern on the club's floor.

The music, which had felt like a perfect backdrop for their dance just moments ago, now seemed to amplify the awkward silence that had fallen between them.

“Safe?” Yuji squeaked, his voice cracking slightly. “We’re perfectly safe, Sensei!” He tried to sound indignant, but it came out more like a nervous chirp. He finally managed to pull himself fully away from Megumi, though he still instinctively moved to stand a little closer to him

Megumi, meanwhile, finally looked up, his dark eyes narrowed slightly at Satoru. “What do you two even want?” he asked, his tone a careful blend of annoyance and embarrassment. He crossed his arms over his chest, trying to project an air of cool indifference, but the blush still hadn't faded from his cheeks.

Satrou, completely, unfazed, just clapped his hands together. “Well, since you asked so nicely, we thought we might join in! This looks like a lively establishment. Suguru, fancy a dance?” He winked dramatically at Suguru, who just sighed, a fond, long-suffering look on his face.

“Satoru, I think we've embarrassed them enough,” Suguru said, though the corner of his mouth twitched upwards. He then turned his attention to Yuji and Megumi, a gentler, more understanding smile on his face. “Honestly, we just wanted to make sure you weren't getting into any trouble. But it seems you two are quite capable of finding your own… entertainment.” He paused, letting the implication hang in the air, causing Yuji to splutter again and Megumi to pinch the bridge of his nose.

· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·

The car ride home started off quietly enough, a soft hum of the engine and the distant city lights blurring past the windows. Satoru was driving, Suguru in the passenger seat, both occasionally glancing back in the rearview mirror. They probably expected a subdued silence from the kids, maybe some mumbĺed apologies. What they got was… less subdued.

Yuji, slumped against his boyfriend, giggled suddenly. “Hey, ‘Gumi,” he slurred, poking Megumi's cheek with a wobbly finger. “Your face is really… really nice. Like, super nice.”

Megumi, whose head was resting on Yuji's shoulder, blinked slowly, his eyes unfocused and hazy with alcohol. He let out a soft, almost purring sound. “Yours too, Yuji. So warm.” He shifted, turning his head, and their noses brushed. The proximity, the alcohol, the lingering adrenaline from the club – it all seemed to bottle up into a single, irresistible urge.

For a moment, the world outside the back seat ceased to exist. The adults in the front, the moving car, the consequences – all faded into a hazy background. There was only Yuji’s warm breath, Megumi’s soft lips, and the sudden, clumsy press of their mouths together. It was a messy, sweet, and utterly uninhibited kiss, fueled by liquid courage and a complete disregard for their current audience.

A loud, theatrical cough from the front seat shattered the moment. Megumi missed the absolute scandalous look on Suguru’s face, despite Megumi having walked in on them on multiple occasions. He won’t ever forget fathers day from two years ago. He had been planning for days and debating whether he should give them something or if it would be too awkward. He decided to give in, only to walk into Suguru having bent over Satoru on their ridiculously large bed with Suguru standing behind him and pounding into him at a speed Megumi thought was impossible. He closed the door as fast as possible and threw away the card and breakfast, Satoru later found everything in the trash while laughing loudly with an embarrassed Suguru by his side. They didn’t see their son for the rest of the day.

“Ahem!” Satorus' voice, usually playful, was now laced with a surprising amount of sternness. “While I appreciate the… enthusiasm, perhaps we can save the PDA for, oh, I don't know, not in my car, while I'm driving, with Suguru right here?”

Megumi instantly recoiled, his face going from flushed to crimson in a millisecond, sobriety crashing down on him like a tidal wave. Yuji, however, just blinked owlishly, a dopey grin on his face. “But Sensei, it’s comfy here! And I'm in loveee, leave me be,” he whined, trying to lean back into Megumi, who was now attempting to create as much distance as physically possible within the confines of the backseat.

Suguru, turning around with a sigh that spoke volumes, fixed them both with a look that was equal parts exasperated and amused. “Alright, you two. That's enough. You're both clearly over the limit. We’ll talk about this in the morning, when you're capable of forming coherent sentences. For now, just try to keep your hands to yourselves.”

· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·

The car finally pulled up to the house, and Satoru cut the engine with a weary sigh. “Alright, boys, home sweet home,” he announced though his tone suggested it was anything but sweet at the moment.

Getting them out of the backseat proved to be the greatest challenge ever. Yuji tried to open the door on the wrong side, then stumbled out, nearly taking out a potted plant on the porch. Megumi, attempting to be more graceful, somehow managed to trip over his own feet on the first step, saved only by Suguru's quick reflexes.

“Just… point them towards Megumi’s room,” Suguru muttered to his husband, rubbing his temples. “Ill try to get them into something less… club-smelling.”

Inside, the house was plunged into a dim, quiet peace, a peace that was about to be thoroughly shattered. Yuji, navigating by what seemed to be a series of happy ricochets off doorframes, made a beeline for what he thought was the bathroom. Instead, he ended up in the living room, trying to brush his teeth with a candle. “This… this toothpaste tastes weird,” he stumbled, squinting at the candle.

Megumi, meanwhile, was having a wrestling match with his own shirt in the hallway, convinced it was a ‘stubborn octopus’. “Stay… still… you… fabric demon!” he grunted, twisting himself into a pretzel. His efforts, combined with Yuji’s muffled singing from the living room, created enough of a commotion to stir the house’s other occupants.

“Megumi baby, I'll help you undress.” Yuji declared but it was lost to the sound of a bedroom door creaking open before Tsumiki’s sleepy face poked out, her hair a mess. “What’s going on?” she yawned, rubbing her eyes.

Before anyone could answer, a loud thud echoed from the bathroom. Yuji had finally made it there, but apparently, it sounded like the concept of a shower curtain was beyond his current comprehension so he pulled it down along with the rod.

Nanako and Mimiko emerged next, looking less sleepy and more annoyed. “Are they… doing this on purpose?” Mimiko whispered to her twin, who just shook her head, already knowing the answer.

Satoru and Suguru were in full damage control mode. Satoru attempted to guide a giggling Yuji away from the candle-toothbrush situation, while Suguru was trying to untangle Megumi from his shirt and towards a change of clothes.

“No, Yuji, that’s the dog’s water bowl, not a mouthwash,” Satoru patiently explained, gently pulling him away.

“Megumi, honey, just let me help you with the buttons,” Suguru sighed, finally getting the shirt off, only for him to continue stripping until he was standing in his boxers and socks, and a ridiculous amount of jewelry. His sisters watched the spectacle, a mix of disbelief and resignation on their faces. It was going to be a long night.

Tsumiki, now fully awake, stepped out into the hallway, a hand on her hip. “Seriously? What time is it even?” she grumbled, looking at the two adult sorcerers who looked just as exhausted as the two drunk ones. Nanako and Mimiko, ever the mischievous duo, had already started whispering and giggling, pulling out their phones.

“Don’t even think about it, you two,” Suguru warned, pointing a finger. “No videos.”

But it was too late. Yuji, having successfully navigated to the bathroom sink, was now trying to brush his teeth with shaving cream, humming a tuneless song. Satoru let out a groan. “Yuji, no! That's not toothpaste!”

Megumi, freed from his clothes, had decided that the hallway rug was a very comfortable place for a nap. He was sprawled out, mumbling about divine dogs and shadow puppets while trying to make hand gestures that vaguely resembled a sleeping cat?

“Megumi, get up,” Tsumiki tried, trying to be firm but a small smile playing on her lips anyways. She knelt down, gently trying to rouse him. “You need to get to bed. Don’t you want to cuddle with Yuji or the divine dogs?”

He just blinked slowly at her, then reached out and patted her head. “Good dog,” he slurred, before letting out a soft snore.

Nanako and Mimiko burst into full-blown laughter, quickly stifling it with their hands when Satoru shot them a look.

“Alright, this is going to take a team effort,” Satoru declares, rubbing his temples. “Suguru, you handle Yuji. I'll get Megs. Tsumiki can you please find some pajamas for them? And you two,” he pointed at the twins, “can… make sure no one else trips over anything.”

Suguru managed to pry the shaving cream from Yuji's hand, who then tried to hug him, declaring his undying friendship. “Youre the best, G-G-Gojo-sensei!” he slurred, confusing the two men, considering it was Suguru who was helping him

Satoru, meanwhile, was having a surprisingly tough time with their son. Despite being half-asleep, Megumi was surprisingly heavy and uncooperative, clinging to the rug like it was his last refuge. “No! My domain expansion is almost complete!” he announced, making vague sweeping motions with his arms.

It took a good fifteen minutes of gentle persuasion, a bit of actual pulling, and a lot of muffled giggles from the younger sisters before Yuji was finally deposited into Megumi's bed, snoring almost immediately.

Megumi, after a brief detour into the kitchen to try and make a midnight snack of uncooked ramen, was eventually guided to his room, where he promptly face-planted onto his boyfriend before they unconsciously started to cuddle in their sleep, soft snores filling his room.

Satoru and Suguru leaned against the doorframe of Megumi’s room, utterly drained. “Never again,” Suguru whispered, running a hand through his hair.

“Agreed,” Satoru replied, a tired grin spreading across his face. “At least they had fun, right?”

Tsumiki, who had just finished picking up the stray clothes and the shaving cream, shook her head with a weary smile. “They certainly made an impression.”

“They did, they started making out in front of us,” Satoru complained while draping himself across his husband's back, making Suguru take all of Satoru's weight.

Nanako and Mimiko, who were retreating to their room, no doubt to replay the mental footage of the night's events, started to laugh once more. The house, after hours of drunken chaos, finally settled back into a fragile, sleep-deprived peace
