Chapter Text
The first thing she was felt is dark warmth.
Then she felt overwhelming love.
Her Mother's (?) Love
Slowly she was filled with an intense need to be free.
She pounded against rigid confines, which made an enjoyable crack and disintegrated.
Once she was out the moon's light poured onto and in her.
She had never felt so satisfied before and reached up to bathe in it.
She realized a large silhouette was gazing down at her.
Her Mother.
She was going up, up and up. Her mom had picked her up and nothing had felt better.
Mother named her Moonwatcher.
They spent a while together content.
"SECRETKEEPER!" Moonwatcher heard someone roar(?)
Suddenly her mother was scared and stuffed her into a hollow.
Terrifying images seemed to seep out of her mother's mind.
Dangerous dragons, animals with sharp claws and teeth, and an island suffocated in smoke and despair.
"See you soon, Moon" whispered her Mom.
Moonwatcher's mother was then gone.
She called out once, twice and then thrice.
Finally she quietly stammered
"Mommy?'
After a while she realized her mom wasn't coming back as soon as she said she would.
Then the memories started to pour in.
A life as a human, where dragons were myth and technology was far more advanced.
And where a book series where dragons lived on a continent called Pyrrhia.
