   Summary

   Thomas was weird, he knew that. He was different, weird and a freak. He always wished to disappear, to go somewhere else where he wasn't seen as a black sheep - where he fit right in.

   It was his 26th birthday today, some of his colleagues came over to celebrate it with a few beers - them teachers had to stick together, right?

   He closed his eyes and filled his lungs with smoke-filled air. What could he possibly wish for? What was one thing he yearned for that stood above all else? Something he never had, something he learnt to not wish for - for it would only leave him disappointed? A home. He never had a home before.
   The thought stuck in his head, he would've dwelled more on it, had it not been the exact moment he blew away the tiny flames of the colourful candles.

   What had he done?
