He lies frozen in the dark of their shared bedroom, listening to Seungmin’s steady breathing beside him. The alpha is sleeping on his stomach, one arm flung across the empty space between them, his face pressed into the pillow. Peaceful. Unaware.
Jeongin clenches his jaw and waits. Maybe it’s just a twinge. Maybe it’ll pass.
It doesn’t pass.
