apollo justice’s favorite color is blue. no, it isn’t red like his bright suit or the color he turns when he’s bashful; it’s blue.
blue: the color of his tie, another important part of his uniform that makes him a defense attorney.
blue: the color of his mentor’s suit and waistcoat, symbolizing him finding his meaning again as phoenix wright, the ace attorney.
blue: the color of his sister’s magician’s outfit, resembling their mother and their family name.
blue: the color of his junior lawyer’s personal companion and computer, widget, bouncing with her, showing that she’s ready for anything and any emotion.
blue: the color of clay’s dreams; the dark blue night sky and his official jacket representing gyaxa

but most importantly… blue: the color of his partner’s eyes, sometimes the soft blue of the summer sky, sometimes the dark blue of a tsunami.
they drag him in and engulf him. in the morning. in the afternoon. in the night.
sometimes the blue is sickeningly sweet like cotton candy and sometimes it’s sour like blue raspberry lemonade, but he stares at the blue no matter what.
because blue will always represent the people he loves.
