Summary
When the First Evil steals Angel's soul, Buffy is called to Los Angeles to negotiate with what's left. She leaves the cage unlocked. She tells herself it's tactical. Angelus comes to Sunnydale anyway — not because the First sent him, but because of something older than either of them, and because he has a seventeen-year-old boy in tow who has no idea yet why the Slayer looks so familiar.
