Summary
Fueled only by their undying wish to protect those they love, a human family is forced to not only navigate a brand new world they found themselves in, but also to join their minds, hearts and life with their new "partners": a team of alien rescue workers. Forged out of living steel light years away from Earth and orphaned by their own skies, searching for things unknown, they're pushed onto a treacherous path of love, loss, blood, gore, broken shells, bones and shattered dentures, ancient godhood and eldrich horror, joy and belonging. All in their common quest to build a new home.

This is a retelling of Transformers: Rescue Bots with a (hopefully) more mature and realistic theming given to their story. My goals here are to unwrap some topics mentioned in the original show that weren't elaborated on in depth due to the show's age rating, and to simply provide a concrete story and timeline to a transformers au that has been brewing in my head for a long time.
