Eighteen months after Vecna is finally gone, Hawkins is supposed to be safe, but Will is still trapped in his own head. He has insomnia, and he ends up getting addicted to sleeping pills again just to get some rest.
Mike decides he is absolutely not losing his best friend, so he steps in to help Will.
