   Summary

   Malenia is an Empyrean, selected by the Two Fingers as one of the potential successors to Queen Marika. A swordsman of unrivaled strength, and has never known defeat. Despite pursuing the path set before her by the Greater Will, she is destined to decay by birthright, and nothing will ever cease the ruin of the scarlet rot writhing within her, with no one but Miquella the Unalloyed attempting to find a cure. Left to rot by her mother, she places faith in her brother, that his vision for the Lands Between liberates them from the current Golden Order that has forsaken her to a fate of having all she knows and loves wither away by her own affliction.
