   Summary

   "He ain't no sweetheart, that's for sure. He's a real hoodlum, but he'll be sweet to you, if you tell him you're my brother. Otherwise he might fuck with ya for fun." Johnny's lips purse and he frowns, his confusion only deepening. To him, the idea of dating somebody like that is foreign. Sodapop tells him of his dreams to date a real nice girl and settle down one day, to marry somebody who has a clean mouth and can take jokes as well as she can make them. "Wouldn't it be better to date someone who's not like that?" He asks, and Sylvia blinks down at him for a moment like she's truly startled. Then, she laughs.

   "Baby, this ain't no fairytale. Us grease, we don't get those."
