Summary
Shane Hollander is the heir to Canada’s biggest luxury hotel conglomerate, but after a devastating injury destroyed his chances of ever playing professional hockey, all he wants is to open a hockey training academy for kids.
The problem is money. Specifically, the trust fund he can’t access until he meets one of three impossible conditions: wait to turn thirty-five, take a senior role in the family business, or get married.
Ilya Rozanov is an international student in Canada whose scholarship has just fallen through. Without it, he can’t pay his tuition fees; without proof of enrolment, his study permit is at risk; and without his study permit, he will be forced back to Russia.
Shane needs a husband. Ilya needs a way to legally stay in the country. A marriage of convenience should solve both their problems, as long as Mr and Mr Hollander-Rozanov don’t make the mistake of falling in love for real.
