Summary
In a post Zootopia 2 world, Nick and Judy must face the consequences of their actions while dealing with their increasingly close relationship. The return of reptiles to Zootopia has exasperated the only barely contained tensions between predators and prey and the pair find themselves thrown into the center of controversy and drama.
As they begin to open up to each other and grow closer, the two of them are finally able to relax and enjoy their new partnership in the ZPD. Despite that, both partners are still inherently broken, each with their own unresolved traumas and struggles that weigh them down. One day, an unexpected visitor brings a concerning tale that causes Judy to make a devastating choice that destroys her friendship and partnership with the one mammal that always believed in her. How far will she go to win back his trust and what dangers will she throw herself into in the process? Can Nick even allow himself to trust her again, or is this one betrayal too many?
