Green’s also here, they just don’t talk!

🔫 “ Eugh-no?..You-no?”
In Yellow’s hands lies a small deck with a bold text that reads “UNO”.
Flowery quickly snatched the deck away, opened it, and began shuffling the cards with both hands.
🌼 “I believe it’s u-no, Yellow! These are called playing cards. Remember when lil ol Kris and Azzy played with these? Aw they would just go bonkers over who had most cards and who didn’t”
🔪” Uuu, they did?”
📖 “ Yes, Aqua. You would’ve known that if you were paying attention..”
Seth tilts their glasses and observes the deck.
📖“ I have to say, I’ve never seen them so up close before, such a modern adaptation compared to regular playing cards..”
🌼 “Everyone! I figured we could all get along by playing this simple card game, how ‘bout a game night, gang?”
🔫 “Sp’ose it could be fun..”
Aqua jumps around the room, a wide grin on her face.
🔪”Play! Play! Play! I wanna play the game!” She lands into Blue’s arms, the ballerino smoothens out her messy hair and fixes her bow straight.
Blue tip toes his way next to the other flowers
🩰 “Is there any reason not to?
Orange pops out of Green’s hat
🥊 “I don’t see why not!”
Flowery looks around him, they all look pretty eager to play, Green holds up a sign that says “I’m down”.
The older flower stops shuffling the cards and smiles.
🌼 “Great, let’s get this game started!”

All seven flowers sit ‘round a circle table, all with seven cards in their hands. A red card with the number two on it.
🌼 “Alright, let’s start in alphabetical order, Aq-“
🔪 “UNOO! I won, I won!” The little flower yelled out, everyone looked at her and she actually had one more card left!
Flowery clears his throat, where the hell did she put the other six cards, they didn’t even start!
🌼 “ Aqua, little buddy! Where uh- Where did your cards go?..”
🔪 “ My cards?
🌼 “Yep, your playing cards, you know- the ones you had in your hands..?”
🔪 “Uuu, I can’t tell you that..”
Flowery blinked, this is gonna be harder than it looks, isn’t it.?
🌼 “.. Well then! Here’s six more UNO cards, just for you!” Flowery pretends to pull six cards from behind Aqua’s ear, she stares in awe for a bit then proceeds to pout.
🔪 “No fair, no fair! You said that if I had one card left, I’d win!”
Flowery smiles and ruffles her hair
🌼 “ ‘Cept you don’t, cause you put them under Yellow’s hat.”
Yellow stands up from his chair
🔫 “S-she did?!”
Blue frowns and pulls him back down by his arm, takes the cowboy hat off his head and hands the cards back to Aqua.
🩰 “Looks like she did, Aqua, as a fair punishment, you’ll have to take these cards as well. And my apologies, Flowery, she won’t be doing that again” Blue gives her a strict look, and for the first time in her life she felt intimidated and said nothing.
🌼 “Now, Aqua, you can either put a red card, or a card with a two on it. Check your cards to see if you have any, if you don’t, draw a card”
Aqua stares at her cards intensely, hm.. a red or a two.. a red or a.. Aha!
🔪 “ RED!” She slams a red card with the number three on it.
🌼 “ Great job! It’s your turn, Blue”
Blue carefully places a red card with the same number on top of the other cards.
🌼 “ Well looky here, looks like it’s my turn!” Flowery looks carefully at his options.
🌼” Say.. did I ever tell you guys about the.. special cards?”
🔫” Special?.. Like them’ rainbow ones?”
🌼 “ Exactly, Yellow. These special cards, can be cruel, harmless, or anything you could ever imagine. So , Green, no hard feelings, but you’ll have to draw two cards”
Green shrugged and picked up two cards from the remaining deck.

🔫 “Why my little cowboy heart, Blue! You done did changed the colour to yellow for lil ol me?”
Blue smiles and pats his head
🩰 “I’m afraid not, Dearest. I just have numerous yellow cards, that’s all”
🔫 “ Well I’m jus’ flattered now!”

🥊 “IT’S NOT FAIR, IT’S NOT FAIR!”
Orange kept drawing blue cards, ONLY blue cards, she had more than 20 now!
Flowery laughs nervously
🌼 “That’s enough, Orange. You’ll get luckier next time, buddy!”
Seth gracefully placed a plus four card on the stacked up cards.
📖 “Ha! Draw four, sheriff! And I’m changing the colour to green”
Yellow looked at his choices, a plus two, a plus four, and a red plus two..
🔫 “Oh, forgive me, Aqua! But there’s nothin’ I can dew..”
🔪 “Uuu, Yellow I have a card like that too!”
Another plus four
🩰 “ My apologies, Flowery..”
Another..
🌼 “ Sorry about that, Green..”
And another..
…
🥊 “YOU TOO, GREEN?! WHY IS EVERYONE BULLYING ME?”
Orange bursts into tears, her cries sounding like countless bass boosted squeaks.
🌼 “Orange, take it easy, bud’! It’s just a game, after all. No one’s bullying ya..” He pets her gently behind her ears.
🥊 “T-T-They aren’t?.. But I can’t even count the cards I have to draw!” She started crying yet again.
Flowery laughs softly, picking up the cards and counting, then putting them back down.
🌼 “That’s.. 24 for ya! Now I’m not allowed to help you, but you can pull off some pretty cool strategies if you really put your mind to it, you’ll be down to one card in no time!” (He whispers that last part)
Orange sniffles and looked at the multiple cards in her paws.
🥊 “Y-Yeah.. yeah, I can! I’ll show them!..”

This was probably the longest round of UNO, EVER.
Aqua kept hiding cards, Blue kept drawing pluses, and using them! Flowery tried keeping it fair but always skipped over Green, Orange made no progress whatsoever, Seth took several minutes to strategise what cards they would use, and Yellow kept drawing cards so that Blue could win!
Flowery sighed, maybe the Dreemurr kids weren’t joking when they were fighting over this game, it was chaotic indeed, no matter the family dynamic, it was getting tired and repetitive, he just wished someone woul-
🥊 “FINISHED! I WON!”
Flowery blinked multiple times then applauded.
🌼 “ Nice! I knew you could do it! Looks like it’s just the five of us then-“
🩰 “ Flowery, if I may object.. it’s past Aqua and Orange’s bedtimes, and this game.. it’s getting rather repetitive, is it not?..”
Silence
🌼 “Right, right! What am I thinking!” Flowery rubs the back of his head.
🌼 “Sorry guys, we’ll have to cut the game short, but thanks for playing!”

On the way to their rooms, Aqua and Orange are chatting it up before they started feeling drowsy.
🥊 “ Y’hear that, Aqua? I won my first ever UNO game!”
🔪 “ Uuuu, does that mean I lost?”
🥊 “ .. Think so”
🔪 “ So! so! This is the second time I’ve lost! It’s so much fun!”
🥊 “Aqua, you’re kinda weird, you know?”
🔪” Hmm, weird? Who’s that?”
🥊 “ You”
🔪 “ Uuu, really? Weird! Weird! I’m weird, I’m weird!
In front of them Blue guides them to their rooms, he’s exhausted from a simple card game..
Seeing his younger sibling act so energised has him charmed but also a little jealous..
🩰 “O, the youth, such pure and eager souls, our fate lies simply in their young hands. Is that not beautyfull?”

Blue was tucking Aqua in, the little flower was already on the verge of falling asleep, after a full day of being so energetic, of course she would..
🩰 “There, there.. goodnight, young one..”
He pulls the blanket onto her.
🔪 “ Night, night! Don’t worry, Blue, I’ll let the bed bugs bite!
Blue smiles nervously
🩰 “ I’ll make sure they uh- don’t”
