dinner and diatribes

Summary:

Companion piece to would that i, told through the meals that never made it to the main fic.

Some are family dinners. Some are ambushes disguised as family dinners - same thing, really, once Percy’s and Dick’s people are involved. Because Percy feeds people, therefore Dick does too, and those ungrateful menaces they sometimes call family pay them back the only way they know how: with unsolicited, occasionally unwelcome, occasionally exactly-what-they-needed Opinions.

Their people say karma's a dish best served cold, because one thing they apparently agree on is that Percy and Dick are two of the most annoyingly opinionated people alive.

Dick begs to differ. And Percy thinks they all started it (and deserved it) anyway!

Notes:

There are some scenes I itched to write but just can't find a way to fit in the main fic, so here goes!

The length would be inconsistent, and some chapters are not directly connected to the others, and the timeline might not be order. It really depends on my own inspiration.

Most of the chapters will probably come after the end of the main fic, HOWEVER, feel free to give suggestion if there's any missing scenes you want to see, I might be inspired in writing it no promises though ;)

Main Fic: would that i

A climate protester and a cop walk into a coffee shop and walk out with yet another humanity-ending prophecy dragging their worlds together.

Ancient monsters and hidden depths - literal, or otherwise - are just given.

Fortunately for Blüdhaven (and the world), they’re Percy Jackson and Dick Grayson.

(Unfortunately, she's supposed to be retired. Watch your ass, Ze-)
