   Summary

   In this universe, instead of Ryland Grace a young college student called Polaris was it who wrote about the thesis of living beings not needing to be water based.

   Instead of Ryland Grace they hired the genius Polaris to study the Astrophages.

   Instead of Grace they have to send a 26 y/o to space, who had their whole life ahead of them.

   Stratt has a hard time breaking the news to Polaris, someone who might as well have been her child.

   Polaris has an even harder time hearing those news.
