Summary
Flowers usually grow in the ground, sometimes they grow between the cracks in the pavement, and only in specific situations do they grow in someone’s lungs. Vox has been suffering from one such situation for so long that he has to search out an old friend to fix him. An old friend that he had a falling out with. One large enough that the rift could lead to deadly consequences.
Alastor has been a resident at the Hazbin Hotel for a while now and following the events of Vox’s rise to power and subsequent defeat at Alastor’s own hands, he has been living comfortably, if not slightly annoyed by his fellow residents. On an ordinary day in his room, he’s summoned by Charlie of all people to come to Vox’s aid. Things are much more dire than he’d bargained for. He must act fast to help Vox sink… or swim.
Skirting a few boundaries, Alastor has to save Vox’s life. Perhaps getting a few choice benefits along the way.
