“It’s not important what I care about,” Alastor replied. “What matters is that I can offer you a deal to make your life a little less miserable.”

They shook hands over the table, the room flashing bright for an instant as the deal was sealed.“Deal,” Vox echoed, their hands lingering for a fraction longer than necessary before they both pulled back.

A Vox at his healthiest decides to help an Alastor at his lowest, despite the risk of being dragged down again, while Alastor has to learn how to let people in after a century spent building walls.

Summary
In one glorious half-hour, Alastor has broken or completed three contracts, freed himself from two separate forms of bondage, and enjoyed a rousing jaunt through nearly half the Pentagram. Incidentally, he may also have shattered Vox’s psyche and his heart. But you know what they say about making omelettes; that was a price he was prepared to pay.
He is less prepared to be personally tasked with unscrambling the eggs.

Summary
About a month after Vox's failed takeover of Heaven, Baxter drags in his dismembered body through the hotel lounge. The sight leaves Alastor to wonder what has become of Vox, so he gets an idea and decides to pay him a visit. The two strike a deal, and now Vox has his body back, but he is stuck at the hotel, and Alastor gets to bask in his humiliation. Vox slowly realises something is going on behind the front. Alastor puts on, and what was once an unrequited love on Vox's end might not be so unrequited anymore.

Vox regrets making a deal with Alastor at first, and somehow, things start looking up for the two of them.

Summary
Post S2 Rosie reminds Alastor he may be out of the deal, but he’s still not out of her zoo. Their deal that he would be the strongest sinner in Hell did not necessarily mean that he would be able to control those powers.
Alastor loses his gifts from Rosie, including the deer hoodoo spirit that turns him back into a helpless human in Hell. The shadows no longer work for him, and rebel in the most torturous way possible: by humiliating him in front of a newly defeated Vox. However, does Vox take pity or does he take advantage of the situation?

The claws curled in where they were resting against Vox’s gills, pushing past the giving flesh to clog his airway. Vox took in a shaky breath around them, trying to follow Alastor’s quick footwork.
“You! Y-your-” Vox hissed into the shared breath between them. The fingers pulled back, sliding along the delicate slit, encouraging more of the membrane’s lubricant to leak out of him. He grit his teeth as a whine built in the back of his throat, trying not to draw attention to the way his knees went weak at the touch.
Alastor tilted his head coquettishly, polite smile perfectly in place. “What's wrong, darling? You seem to be having trouble keeping time.”
