Summary
Shane Hollander, the son of Canada’s prime minister, is caught in a very public friendship with Ilya Rozanov, a British Prince, after an altercation has surfaced the need to save their images.
Up until that point, they have been antagonistic at best but not long into their friendship new (or old?) feelings surface, leading towards revelations of all kinds.
“Am I offending you? Sorry I’m not obsessed with you like everyone else. I know that must be confusing for you.” Ilya moves closer to him, crowding him against the table.
“Do you know what?” With a calm expression, Hollander stares up at him, a small smirk on his face. “I think you are.”
Ilya can’t believe what he is hearing. Did he really just accuse him of that? “Excuse me?” He tries to school his expression but he knows it isn’t fully working.
“Just an observation,” Hollander adds, “In all these years, I have never approached you, never antagonised you first. I have been the textbook definition of nice. Yet here you are, approaching me as if you wanted my attention.” He puts his glass to the side. “Or do you oppose it?”
