Summary
“So what’s your plan then?” James asks. Focused on Sirius.
Sirius is focused on me.
“What plan?” he says, but his attention is on me. On my neck. I can tell because that’s where the heat begins to burst under my skin.
“For the rabbit.” James leans in to me, close enough that if anyone bumped into him- we’d be touching for sure. He tilts his head and gives big questioning eyes at Sirius.
Sirius’s jaw sets. He tugs on the back of James’s collared shirt, “Lily will bite your head off.”
James smirks, “Not before you do.”
