He keeps his cards close to his chest, so close that he is tangled in them at the end. The realization that he wasn't capable of resisting Sokka, that despite everything Zuko desired him the same way he desired the sun: with burning passion and as a line of life, as a flame that gave him life, even when he didn't want it.
