Summary
He keeps his cards close to his chest, so close that he is tangled in them at the end. The realization that he wasn't capable of resisting Sokka, that despite everything Zuko desired him the same way he desired the sun: with burning passion and as a line of life, as a flame that gave him life, even when he didn't want it. He let himself be deluded under the illusion of being loved by someone. He let himself dream about a happy future, about a mate that respected him, that loved him. He let himself dream of a family that he could never conceive, because he was broken beyond repair.
