After long days of teaching at U.A and even longer nights on patrol, Shouta Aizawa develops an odd little habit.
He stops by the supermarket every week.
Not because he needs coffee.
Or cat food.
Or anymore eye drops.
But because Register Three is usually run by a soft-spoken cashier with green eyes, and a kind smile who always says the same thing when he leaves.

Nothing about Inko Midoriya demanded his attention but somehow… she had all of his.

It wasn't love at first sight.
It was cold, achy night adorned with hunger pains that lead to their first meeting and the comfort that came after—is how Shouta Aizawa's shopaholic journey began.

I'm so excited about this.
The concept is so wholesome bro!
This is partly inspired by, "Smoking behind the supermarket with You," an age gap, slow burn romance manga that is now an anime. It's so cute, and it really just ah—anyway that's where I got the idea.
Why this ship?
Someone wanted an Aizawa x Inko fic and I thought why not. And once you see their dynamic it'll be worth it. They're like total opposites but their hearts match.
I had a lot more to say but I don't want to rant.
Inko and Aizawa have a 10 year age gap in canon but I aged them down and up for relevancy and preference for the plot.
I have nothing against older woman x younger male stories! In fact there's such lack of it—🤧 but yeah I made Inko younger cause I pictured the skinnier Inko (w tiny Izuku) with the older Aizawa in that order.
