    This is a story about three children.
    Midoriya Izuku always wanted to be a Hero, not for the fame or prestige that came with the career, but simply because he wanted to help people. Even after years of being told he was useless, that he should just give up, this dream survived. So, when his skills and worth are finally affirmed, not by Heroes but by villains, he takes it as a chance to finally help, using his cleverness to soften the villains' evil and prevent his own fall.
    Uraraka Ochako always wanted to be a Hero, even if her reasons are, in her opinion, pretty selfish. She just wants to make some money so that she can pay her parents back for all they've done for her. A simple goal like that is all she can hope for: she's just an ordinary girl with an ordinary Quirk, after all. So when she is offered a destiny far greater than anything she could have imagined, she has no idea how to respond to being chosen.
    Shinso Hitoshi always wanted to be a Hero, if for no other reason than to prove everyone wrong about him. Namely, the people who told him that his Quirk made him a villain no matter what. So once he is finally given the chance to fulfill his dream, he's not about to let anything stop his rise.
