“Vortex!!!” The small voidling shouted as he suddenly jumped onto the young blue dragon hybrid causing them to fall to the grass.
“Hello, to you too, Spoke.” Vortex said, smiling softly as he slowly sat up.
“Hello, Vortex!” A little blue-golden macaw hybrid called out cheerfully as he approached the other kids.
“Parrot, group hug!!” Spoke said as he suddenly grabbed Parrot by his arm and pulled him down to the ground, causing the young avian to let out a small chirp and fall onto the ground.
“Spoke!!” Parrot shouted.
“Teehee, sorry!” Spoke said as he stood up and reached his hand out towards the other two to help them stand up.
“It's ok, Spoke. Oh wait, I actually have something to show you guys! Come quick!” Vortex said as he excitedly ran towards a cave. Spoke followed almost immediately, leaving Parrot who was still dusting off his shirt.
“Wha- Vortex, Spoke, wait up!” The avian yelled, as he struggled to catch up.
Soon enough, the three kids reached the cave. Vortex standing in the middle, looking prideful and excited.
“Ehem!” Vortex playfully cleared his throat. “I wanted to show you guys… this!” He showed his arm, pulling the sleeve down, revealing a beautiful glowing bracelet.
“A bracelet..?” Parrot asked confusedly as he tilted his head to the side.
“Pretty!!” Spoke approached the blue dragon to look at the bracelet closely.
“Actually, this bracelet… has a special power!” Vortex exclaimed.
“... A special power..?” Oh this just intrigued the young Parrot. Very very intrigued.
Meanwhile Spoke just raised his eyebrows. But also quite intrigued.
“So basically, this bracelet can like.. Control the whole server!”
“.. Control?” Spoke said, confused.
“Wait, what do you mean by that?” Parrot, asked.
“No offense Vortex, but that doesn't sound real at all… I mean… A bracelet? Controlling the whole server?” Spoke just couldn't believe that statement, I mean it's true. A bracelet controlling a whole server sounds insane.
“Ok, ok. Just look!” Vortex said as he made a stack of obsidian appear in his hand.
“WHAT. HOW??” Spoke shouted. “Does that bracelet give you like.. I don't know.. admin powers??? Cause holy what?!”
Parrot stayed quiet. But his eyes gleamed with curiosity.
“I know right-” Then suddenly, Wemmbu's and Flame's voices were heard. Calling for Spoke and Parrot.
“Awh gosh darn it. We have to go… bye Vortex!! We'll see you tomorrow.” Spoke said, waving aggressively. “Race you there Parrot!” Spoke suddenly ran. Leaving the Bird and Dragon alone in the cave.
Parrot continued to stare at the bracelet. He was curious. He wanted to know more. He wanted- no. He needed the bracelet. “Uhm.. Vortex, this might sound weird, but… can I borrow that bracelet..?” Parrot asked quietly. “I swear, I'll give it back!”
“Hmm… I don't know Parrot… my parents gave this bracelet to me, and they told me to not let anyone use it.” Vortex said.
“But, I'm your friend! Don't you trust me..?” Parrot said as he took a step closer.
“I-I do trust you! But.. I just can't ignore my parents' orders…” Vortex stepped back as he noticed Parrot closing the distance.
“Pleasseeee Vortex?” Parrot pleaded.
“I'm sorry, but no is a no. Parrot. I can't disobey my parents like that…” Vortex lowered his head, avoiding Parrot's gaze.
“Then why did you even tell us about this bracelet??” Parrot was slowly losing his patience. He just wanted to try the bracelet! Nothing wrong with that..
“I told you no, Parrot!” Vortex shouted. Causing the bird to flinch and lower his wings down. “I'm sorry Parrot.. But you should go back to your brothers-” Vortex stopped speaking as he realized that he was falling.
Parrot had pushed Vortex down in a fit of anger, then suddenly…
THUD.
A stalagmite appeared in the middle of Vortex's chest, impaling him. Vortex let out a shocked gasp before going limp almost instantly.
Before Parrot could even register what he had done, it was already too late. Vortex laid in the cave, a stalagmite piercing through his chest, as dark crimson blood started to pour.
Parrot covered his mouth, muffling a scream. Oh gods, he actually killed Vortex. He didn't mean for this to go this far. He didn't mean to kill Vortex.
Parrot started panicking, but that was until he noticed the bracelet again. Vortex was dead. And the bracelet was still there, on Vortex’s arm. His curiosity taking over him again. He slowly approached Vortex's corpse, and slowly took the bracelet. He then wore it on his right arm before covering it with his jacket.
He could've helped Vortex, he could've called for help. But instead, he turned around, and left Vortex's corpse to rot.

He quickly ran looking for his older brothers. “Flame, Wemmbu, Spoke!!” He shouted as he ran towards them.
“There you are! C'mon let's go, Sir Minute is waiting for us.” The nether-born said. As they slowly walked back to their house.
