Summary
If Owen hadn't been out chopping wood just beyond the birch clearing that first day so long ago, Louis would simply have made his way through to the outer edge of the forest as part of mapping out his territory. It wasn't the first time he'd done it, nor would it have been the last - he liked the chance to just be alone and take his time, with no expectations or watchful eyes.
