Summary
A transfer from your lab has made you and your husband, Ryland Grace, desperate for the help of an engineer. The two of you were so desperate, it seemed, that you took to asking Stratt to use what authority she had to reach out into a COI monitored program and apply for the type of help they offered. She was understandably reluctant, and the pool to choose from was as shallow as it gets, but the options were there. All you and Ryland had to do was pick one.
Simon was several years away from meeting his death row sentence. He knew that the rest of his life would consist of iron, concrete, monitored showers, and rations in the form of chalky cubes, and that was okay. His past lingered within him, still, despite his best efforts to ignore it. Who knew it would literally be his saving grace(s)?
