She just stared at him, clearly unimpressed. “So? Go fiddle with the toaster, or whatever it is you do in your spare time.”
“The toaster blew up,” he said.
“Then go buy a new toaster,” she answered, turning back to her diary.
“We’re broke,” he reminded her.
“Fine, build a new toaster. Just leave me alone until four, okay?”
“What happens at four?”
Piper closed her diary, with more force than necessary, and looked at Leo with a slightly manic glint in her eye. “You, Sir, are going on a date.”
“I’m what?”

Leo loved Piper, he really did. Almost as much as she loved to stick her nose in where it didn't belong - namely, Leo's romantic life, or lack thereof.
