Perhaps Greg had expected Mycroft to drag him into a fancy restaurant, the type that would have made him feel small, out of place, the type he would never go into unless he was in Mycroft’s company.
When the car came to a stop, he noticed the change of atmosphere. The alley was emptied of any restaurants. Any shops. It was a simple alley, in which multiple houses were aligned. One after another.
They weren’t going to have dinner in public. Mycroft was taking him to his place.
