Summary
The room was empty. Or rather, the room was exactly as they had left it—bed made, bags on the floor, equipment stacked neatly on the desk. But the bed was different. The covers were rumpled, disturbed, as if someone had been rolling around on them. And in the center of the mattress, arranged carefully in a heart shape, were the jasmine flowers that Dylan had thrown away.
Also, their bags had been unpacked. Their clothes were folded together in the dresser drawers, alternating—Dylan's black shirts, Jun's linen ones, Dylan and Jun's boxer briefs.
"Okay," Dylan said, his voice coming out slightly higher than he would have liked. "That's... that's invasive."
"That's adorable," Jun corrected, but he looked unsettled too, the humor not quite reaching his eyes. "The house is... matchmaking?"
"The house is a pervert."Or: Jun and Dylan are sent to investigate a haunted house for fourteen days. The house, unfortunately, is less interested in killing them than it is in getting them to admit they have feelings for each other. But something else has been observing from a distance.
