School.
It's a time in any pokemon's life that you never get to have the feeling off again. The classrooms, the clubs, the smell of chalk on the whiteboards, and well…the opportunities of making friends
Bugs get along with bugs that's easy to understand, everyone has something in common with another different type of someone that they can bond over.
Like strength.
Strength…it's a factor that, while it's determined since you are born, makes a difference, at least in this part of the world.
The weaker bugs hang out with the weaker bugs, the stronger bugs with the stronger bugs.
…there is a difference, a difference when compared to other types.
Unlike most types, most bugs are…weak, it's just how it has been.
So, the stronger bugs feel more superior than weaker bugs rather than maybe how stronger fire types feel towards weaker fire types. In bugs, being strong is rare, which means most young, yet to evolve bugs, wish to become as strong as those above them, hoping for better stats and if they're lucky, a way to go past their natural limits…like evolution or size.
Unfortunately for the weaker bugs, the stronger bugs feel superior in such a way that leads them to tease and mess with them.
That becomes apparent quick.

'H-hey! Give me those back!’
'Or what? You're gonna bite me? What happens if I don't give them back, huh?’
'They're very specifically organized! I-if they get messed up I'll have to spend ages organizing them! A-and you don't seem like the careful type-!’
The binders filled with pages are then dropped on the floor, the pages flying out and getting mixed up
'Oops!’
The young bug, a blipbug, kneels down to pick up the pages
‘wh-what have you done! Oh…this is gonna take ages!’
‘Ages? Well, go find dialga and see if they can help you out, good luck!’
Blipbug is then left on the floor, trying to pick up the loose pages and organize them right there and then. It was futile.
'O-oh help me arceus…’
. . .
'Excuse me-? Do you need help?’
'Wh-who' s there-!? I don't need my stuff messed with again!’
Standing alongside blipbug, was a young ledyba, a year or two younger than him. His red shell was shining with the ceiling lights, his eyes were also.
'I-im not here to mess your stuff up! I just…saw you on the floor and wondered what was wrong’
'J-just…these stronger bugs kept messing with me, th-they took my stuff and dropped it…it was organized and now its…’
The young ledyba kneeled down beside him, slowly, as if not to startle him any further.
'I can try and help…i-if you want’
. . .
'I-it's organized in a way not everyone can organize in!’
. . .
'...I…guess I could use some help’
The young blipbug starts picking up the pages and page binders, stacking them on top of each other, trying to balance it.
Ledyba reaches out and grabs a few binders and pages from the stack
'I can carry some! I mean…I do have extra arms…gotta be useful for something!’
'F-fine! Just…dont drop them’
‘I'll…try my best not to, okay?’
Ledyba looked at blipbug and gave him a quick encouraging smile. Ledyba was always more clumsy when it came to stuff, but he was gonna try to be more careful.
‘We cannn.. go to the library! The tables are pretty big and well…if im being honest I don't think those guys would be reading in there…the guys that bothered you obviously-’
'Y-your right…those jerks probably d-dont even know how the books are organized…!’
Ledyba…
He was always the type of bug to want to help out someone if they needed something, he wanted to make himself…'usefull'...that way. His help wasn't always wanted, so it was nice when it's accepted (accepted not wanted)
Ledyba was also…pretty lonely most of the time, he didn't really talk to many people…its unclear why. It's probably a mix of things, people not wanting his help was probably ONE thing…he wasn't rude or anything…maybe his clumsiness was also an issue, or that since he was so quiet and just looked uninteresting that no one came to talk to him and lets be honest…he wasnt going to talk to someone himself…he only did when he felt like he could help someone out…like...right now!
He never got to experience a 'friendship’, proper 'oh lets hang out after class!’ 'Wanna come over to my house to watch a movie?’ That sort of stuff. Something he got to do sometimes was a small conversation and…thats about it.
He never really hoped to be friends with people much either, since he had not experienced a proper friendship before, he doesn't know how much it really does just…make you feel happier. I mean sure he's heard people talk about how great it is to have a good friend that has your back, but again, since he hasn't felt it directly, he just…dosen’t know how it feels.

'Alright…heres the library’
'Y-yes…I can TELL this is the library, im here all the time’
Ledyba looks around the room, the bookshelves are stacked with all types of books…cooking books…botanical books…history books…all the stuff a school could ever need, a great place to concentrate.
He raises one of his arms and gestures towards a table. It was one of the largests, and was pretty far away from everyone else
'That table seems good, its big so we can probably lay out most of the papers on it’
'...w-well…you ARE correct that it is quite the table’
'C'mon let's go’
They both then walk towards the large table, passing by the many, many books, you could get lost for hours reading only 1 of the shelves.
. . .
'Oh wait! I uh…totally forgot!’
'...d-don’t tell me you forgot some-!’
'What's your name?’
. . .
'A-abbot…my name…is abbot’
'Abbot…nice name! Never heard it before…I think’
They both sit down at the table, and ledyba puts the stack of pages on the table, spreading them out
'So…where do we start?’
'...date, we must start with the date’
'Alright! So…that one is the 25th and this one is the 19th so they go like this…and this one is also from the 19th so we put this one on top’
‘below…that one goes below…’
'...why?’
'The first one you picked up is math and the one you put on top is history…history is AFTER math’
'Ohh…also by schedule…okay…so then…on Monday yea…math is before history…so we…and then we…’
. . .

'Anddddd there! Finally! All sorted…wow…my fingers are hurting…’
. . .
'Thanks f-for the help’
'Oh? Don't worry about it! Bugs for bugs, right?’
. . .
'Unless your t-those jerks…they dont follow that mentality, when they see you as 'weak’ at least…!’
‘Yeah…I guess they see themselves so highly that they don't see us as well…equal’
'If I w-was as strong as them, I would show them! I would not be as judgemental as them! A-and I'd be better! I w-wouldn't follow their stupidity!’
'Mhm…being better than them that way can't be too hard…strenght wise, however…uh…thats a bit more of a challenge’
. . .
'Y-yea…being strong as a bug isn't easy…sometimes I-I wish I was a psychic type instead! Those are strong!’
'Hey…don't let things make you ashamed of being a bug!’
'...whatever you say’
. . .
'I-it's actually easy for you to say that!’
‘'Huh?’
'You got lucky! You're already a dual type! You are flying! You have an immunity to stuff like earthquake and…o-other stuff! Me? I'm just a bug!’
'...I'm sure you'll get something cool when you evolve! I mean…since your so focused on inteligence…psychic type might fit you well!’
'R-right, like that's ever gonna happen…ill s-stay pure bug until I die…’
'Don't say that! Think about it…excavalier…that's a strong bug! But karrablast not so much…its not a steel type until it evolves aswell’
. . .
'...I g-guess thats…technically correct’
‘Question’
'...yes?’
'Since you know so much about the library…are there any books about well…how to become stronger?’
'...there is…and yes, I DO quite know about the library, thank you very much’
'Well…my idea is that we could come here and study how to y'know…become stronger! And if you want we could train’
'...I…’
'Cmon! I'm sure we'll make it!’
'...i-its…not an easy task, you know?’
Ledyba reached out to grab abbot's wrists, pulling them closer to himself
‘one day, we will both become strong, I promise’
