Summary
Following the final battle against Thanos, Penny is forced to adjust to a world that is simultaneously old and new all at once. It isn't just the world, too. In the five years Penny was gone, Mr. Stark and Miss Potts had a daughter and adopted a son, and then they went ahead and offered her a place with them! Even though everyone is beyond welcoming, Penny continues to feel strangely out of place. Everywhere she goes, she holds her breath in anticipation, waiting for her already fragile world to crack and crumble beneath her.
It doesn't help that despite their kindness, Penny can feel herself being doubted by the people around her. It also doesn't help that she's now missing an arm.
