Summary
“Hey,” Juhoon calls quietly, fiddling with his fingers in the doorway. He suddenly feels so small, like a speck of matter in the universe and maybe Martin is the sun that he’s meant to orbit around. Or maybe, more likely, he feels terrifyingly bare in front of him now. Like he’s been stripped down to his core and exposing everything he ever hid away. And even more poignantly, it’s like everything he tried to lock away from himself is spilling out. It slips right through his fingers, impossibly thin like water. It’s impossible to catch and force it back into its box.
He cannot help it, his eyes dart to his friend, to his bed, and to his own body he stares down at, and suddenly, feels quite a lot like crying. Maybe the floor is crumbling right beneath his feet, and he’s going down with it. Maybe only then he’d be hidden again in the debris.
Or, Juhoon's crush on Martin catches up with him, and with it, a whole lot more.
