Summary
You inherited a ranch in the countryside from your great-aunt. The issue? Half the inheritance went to a pretty cowboy who didn't seem to take a hint. So, your plan was simple: evict him, sell the ranch, and secure your rich city-girl retirement plans. Instead, you get tackled into the mud by a rogue cow, seduced by a foreman in leather chaps, and completely outplayed by your dead great-aunt, all while realizing the only villain in your little story is you. But hey, you win some, you lose some.

Very cute story!! Really enjoyed the main character, her internal dialogue was so relatable and funny. I liked how headstrong and stubborn she was. Even though it halted the progression of the story, her stubbornness was so vital to the fic. It’s obvious they were going to get together in the end regardless of what happened, but I loved how she expressed her feelings and desires FULLY throughout the entire thing. I prefer relationships that undergo extreme highs and lows as opposed to the mc repressing their reactions and emotions to get to the same end goal. Gojo was written really well in this fic, and his characterization was so consistent the entire time. I’m glad it didn’t end with pregnancy, but I surprisingly wouldn’t have been opposed to it either. Also glad that the mc kept her independence and autonomy in the end. Pop culture references were also 10/10!
