Summary
Sukuna has recently applied to USC three weeks prior to the selections, fresh out of high school. Now at the ripe age of twenty-three, she's arrived in Cali, away from her foster home in Puerto Rico. Growing up there for the last six years and then needing to move out so quickly definitely took a toll on her. Having a rough childhood wasn't easy for her or her mental health and after being shoved into an orphanage without any say from her side has affected her. She doesn't know if this pause—of just being on her own—will make her or break her.
But maybe something more than classes would happen here.Satoru has been a teacher in USC for the past one year after leaving her home in New York and aspiring to build a name for herself that doesn't revolve around the Gojo empire. Refusing the offer to take up her father's company the moment she had come of age, she ran away when disappointment was shone down on her by her parents. Now, living on her own, and praying she does something worthwhile, Satoru waits for an opportunity while teaching Physics at a university.
But maybe it comes sooner than she expects.
