The glorious finish to his decades old plan was just in Innocent Zero’s grasp but nothing he did made him reach it. Mash was in his way and when it wasn’t him it was his companions fighting on and never giving up.

But time travel was tricky. You weren’t allowed to change much. But Innocent Zero was smarter. He didn’t need new mothers or even a woman for his plans. A man would do.
