The glorious finish to his decades old plan was just in Innocent Zero’s grasp but nothing he did made him reach it. Mash was in his way and when it wasn’t him it was his companions fighting on and never giving up.
Unlike Innocent Zero’s useless sons. It was all their fault. Only they were to blame for his defeat. But how to remedy that?
A brilliant plan came to Innocent Zero’s mind. Time Travel but not just mere minutes or hours but 30 years back to a time where his sons still had potential to grow stronger. They just needed better mothers. Mothers who didn’t keel over from strain months before the due dates of his offspring.
But time travel was tricky. You weren’t allowed to change much. But Innocent Zero was smarter. He didn’t need new mothers or even a woman for his plans. A man would do. A strong man; one preferably as strong as a Divine Visionary if not an actual one. And look where he was: A battlefield that just teemed with those. He only needed to choose the perfect one.
Orter had been prepared to die for his cause: make sure Mash Burnedead survived.
But someone else had a fate worse than death planned for him. A new life filled with humiliation, pain and torture...
