Since they were kids Hazel, Max and Felix knew something, betas like them aren't desirable
But they were lucky
Even on the isle omegas were treasured and more protected by others while betas...often nobody noticed them. But it made more easy fof them sneak and stealing from others
There was no scent people could notice when Max pickpocket. Felix's emotions never were delated for such thing like pheromones. And people naturally respected Hazel for her leadership and not for something like that "alpha voice" or such
In Auradon things didn't changed a lot. They had more resources and opportunities even when the arrogant "Hero" Kids dissmised them and tried to bully them. Thinking "three simple betas would be easy victims"
The same ones who soon found Hazel's Hook pointing at their throats
That didn't stop both Squeaky and Squirmy from being very protectives with their crew. People may find weird how those two alphas always secured the beta's well-being above omega's but the twins would be out of control if Hazel, Max or Félix ended up hurted
Not like they needed so much protection, but the twins's intentions were obvious
Hazel, Felix and Max are just normal betas and they accepted and like it
