   Summary

   He meets Kyouji at a bar for the first time since he was a kid. He’s taller, yes, his voice grown deeper and no longer soprano; but he’s hardly less nervous, feeling still fourteen and weak in the knees, perhaps even more jittery that he had been before—before leaving, going off to study in Tokyo despite being native to Osaka.
