Summary
After the death of his father, nineteen year old Naim Reid follows his grieving mother to Bellwether, an isolated Southern religious community promising the belonging and spiritual renewal she desperately needs.
At first, its white fences, communal rituals, green fields, and orderly way of life seem merely old-fashioned, but Naim gradually discovers their theology is far more sinister as his increasingly prophetic dreams are named the corruption that has entered Bellwether.OR
Naim has been dreaming about Ryan for months before ever knowing he existed outside of them. Ryan has been praying for someone to love him despite all his pain.
