Summary
Desperate measures have their price. Through forbidden necromancy, Jayce succeeds to revive Viktor, but what returns is no longer the man he once knew. Reborn as a biomechanical, flesh and blood-hungry entity, Viktor abandons Jayce and the Academy, taking his research back to the roots of Zaun. Fearing what Viktor may become, and sensing a great feeling of betrayal within him, Mel orders Jayce to find him and uncover his intentions. Deep in the Undercity, Viktor is building something vast, driven by a vision of independence and glory for Zaun. However as his creation grows, so does the struggle against his fading humanity and evolution into something far beyond mortal.
